Who We Are

Evil Eye FX logo, an eye with flames.

Evil Eye FX is a joint venture from friends Sean and Ben. We built our brand around our love for fantasy novels and RPGs.

Sean and I have been friends since middle school, and in college, we began making music together. We began modding Boss pedals together for our own use and quickly realized we enjoyed the craft.

Throughout 2022, I worked with Brian from Spruce Effects, a fantastic designer and builder of pedals to release a custom fuzz pedal. Enjoying the process so much, I decided to purchase a breadboard to learn how vintage-style circuits work. After bothering Brian with *many* dumb questions, Evil Eye FX was born!

Our BRANDING

A logo for Evil Eye FX featuring a stylized red devil face with black eyes and nose, surrounded by black text that reads, 'Wicked handmade guitar pedals,' 'Built with magic since 2023,' and the brand name 'Evil Eye' in bold uppercase letters.

The idea for the “Evil Eye” in our name came about as I was re-reading works from Tolkien’s legendarium. The badass imagery of the forces of Mordor marching under the banner of the Eye of Sauron inspired the Evil Eye FX name and logo.

Our pedal models are meant to reflect characters and concepts from our favorite works of fantasy and RPGs like Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Dungeons & Dragons, the Elder Scrolls series and more.
